This Dahua 8-channel AI Network Video Recorder is designed for advanced IP surveillance recording, monitoring and intelligent security management. It features an industrial-grade processor with Embedded Linux and supports Web and Local GUI operation for convenient system control.
The NVR supports 8-channel camera access with 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth, 80 Mbps recording bandwidth and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. It supports resolutions up to 12MP and provides flexible decoding performance. With AI disabled, it can decode up to 1-channel 12MP at 30fps, while AI-enabled decoding supports configurations including 1-channel 8MP, 1-channel 6MP, 1-channel 5MP, 2-channel 4MP or 4-channel 1080p at 30fps.
For intelligent surveillance, the recorder supports SMD and Perimeter Protection functions. SMD Plus by Recorder supports 4 channels with secondary filtering for human and motor vehicle detection, while SMD Plus by Camera supports all channels with up to 8 targets per second. Perimeter Protection is also supported across all channels with up to 4 targets per second.
The NVR supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG video compression, along with G.711a, G.711u, PCM and G726 audio compression. Recording modes include general, motion detection, intelligent and alarm recording. Playback supports up to 8 channels, with instant, general, event, tag and smart playback options, while USB and network backup provide flexible backup methods.
The recorder provides 1 HDMI and 1 VGA output, with HDMI supporting up to 3840 × 2160 resolution. It includes two SATA ports, each supporting up to a 20TB HDD, subject to environmental conditions. Additional interfaces include RCA audio input/output, two USB 2.0 ports and one 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 network port.
The NVR operates on 12V DC, 4A with power consumption below 10W without HDD. It has a 375 × 282.9 × 53mm compact design, weighs approximately 1.49kg net, and supports an operating temperature range of -10°C to +55°C.
