The Dahua NVR4232-EI is a 32-channel 1U Network Video Recorder designed for advanced IP video surveillance systems. It features an industrial-grade embedded processor and Embedded Linux operating system, supporting up to 32 IP camera channels for centralized monitoring, recording and security management.
The NVR supports high-resolution video up to 16MP and provides flexible decoding performance. With AI disabled, it can decode up to 2-channel 16MP, 2-channel 12MP, 4-channel 8MP, 6-channel 5MP, 8-channel 4MP or 16-channel 1080p at 30fps. With AI enabled, it supports up to 1-channel 16MP, 2-channel 12MP, 3-channel 8MP, 4-channel 5MP, 6-channel 4MP or 12-channel 1080p at 30fps.
For efficient recording and storage, the NVR supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG video compression, along with G.711a, G.711u, PCM and G.726 audio compression. It supports general, motion detection, intelligent and alarm recording, as well as up to 16-channel playback with general, motion, intelligent and alarm search options.
The NVR provides intelligent alarm functions including face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection, SMD Plus, people counting, stereo analysis and heat map. It also supports motion detection, privacy masking, video loss, scene changing, PIR and IPC external alarms, along with anomaly detection for camera disconnection, storage errors, IP conflicts and cybersecurity exceptions.
For connectivity and storage, the NVR features HDMI and VGA outputs, one Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port, two SATA ports supporting up to 16TB, front USB 2.0 and rear USB 3.0 ports, RS232 and RS485 interfaces. It also supports ONVIF and multiple third-party camera brands, with Android and iOS mobile access and browser support. The NVR comes with a 1-year warranty.
