The Dahua XVR1B16-I/T is a 16-channel Penta-brid compact digital video recorder designed for reliable CCTV recording and monitoring. It uses an industrial-grade processor with an embedded Linux operating system and supports flexible surveillance system configurations with IP camera connectivity and multiple video technologies.
The XVR1B16-I/T supports up to 18 IP camera channels in total, including 2 IP channels by default plus 16 additional channels. It also provides 16-channel two-way talk over coaxial cable, while local and network two-way talk shares the audio input with the first channel.
For efficient recording and storage management, the recorder supports AI Coding, Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264 video compression, along with G.711a, G.711u and PCM audio compression. It supports general, alarm and motion detection recording modes, with main-stream and sub-stream recording options and a bit rate range of 32 kbps to 4096 kbps.
The XVR1B16-I/T features SMD Plus intelligent alarm support along with motion detection, HDCVI alarm, camera external alarm, network alarm and PIR alarm functions. Playback supports up to 16-channel synchronized playback, while USB and network backup provide convenient options for saving recorded footage.
For display, the recorder provides HDMI and VGA outputs with resolutions up to 1920 × 1080. Multi-screen display supports up to 16 channels in standard mode and up to 25 channels when IP extension mode is enabled. It includes one SATA port supporting up to 16TB HDD storage, two rear USB 2.0 ports and a 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port. The XVR operates on DC 12V/2A with power consumption below 10W and comes with a 1-year manufacturing warranty.
