Dahua NVR2216-4KS3 16-Channel Lite Network Video Recorder (NVR)

The Dahua NVR2216-4KS3 is a 16-channel Lite Network Video Recorder designed for reliable IP surveillance recording, monitoring and video management. It features an industrial-grade processor with Embedded Linux and supports 16-channel IP camera input for flexible surveillance system configuration.

The NVR supports resolutions up to 12MP and provides flexible decoding performance based on AI status. With AI disabled, it supports up to 1-channel 12MP, 1-channel 8MP, 2-channel 6MP, 2-channel 5MP, 3-channel 4MP or 6-channel 1080p at 30fps. With AI enabled, it supports up to 1-channel 8MP, 1-channel 6MP, 1-channel 5MP, 2-channel 4MP or 4-channel 1080p at 30fps.

For efficient video recording and storage management, the NVR supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG video compression, along with G.711a, G.711u, PCM and G726 audio compression. It supports general, motion detection, intelligent and alarm recording modes, while instant, general, event, tag and smart playback provide flexible footage review options.

The NVR2216-4KS3 supports 1/4/8/9/16 multi-screen display through HDMI and VGA outputs, with simultaneous video output support. It also provides 4-channel alarm input and supports USB and network backup. Third-party compatibility includes ONVIF and supported brands such as Panasonic, Sony, Axis, Arecont, Pelco, Canon and Hanwha.

For storage, the recorder features two SATA ports, with each HDD supporting up to 20TB depending on environmental temperature. Network connectivity is provided through one Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port, while two rear USB 2.0 ports provide additional connectivity. The NVR operates on 12V DC, 4A with power consumption below 10W without HDD and comes with a 1-year manufacturing warranty.
